Development and Analytics
- Production of formulations on a laboratory scale
- conducting stability tests
- Quality control of raw materials, laboratory and production batches by determining pH value, viscosity, density, dry residue, optical control using a microscope (e.g. droplet size and distribution in emulsions)
- Quantitative Determination of Active Ingredients in Extracts by HPLC
Extraction and Distillation
- Production of plant extracts (also as a contract contract)
- Percolators for different batch sizes are available (between 1kg and 200kg / batch)
- Different solvents (also combinations) are possible – we only use undenatured alcohol (96%) for extract production
- The distillation plant can produce concentrates of the extracts using a gentle process ("Centrifugal Thin Film" process)
- HPLC is used to check whether and to what extent the relevant active ingredients can be concentrated in the concentrate
Production
- Production of liquid, semi-solid and solid formulations: bath additives and scented baths, shower oils, shower gels and shampoos, gels for various applications (face and body care, roll-ons, ...), emulsions with different viscosities (fluid, lotion, cream, ointment, butter, ..), solid and powdered products
- Batch sizes between 1 kg and 300 kg per batch
- Powder press for the production of e.g. bath tablets – throughput approx. 1000 tablets / h
- Contract manufacturing of finished recipes or development and production of new products according to customer requirements
Filling and Packaging
- Filling of liquids, creams, gels and powders
- Hot filling also possible
- Tube filler with capper (aluminum tubes) and simultaneous embossing of MHD and/or batch
- Automatic labeling and batch printing using hot stamping stamps
- Alternatively, batch and/or MHD can be printed on finished products using inkjet
Production Control and Batch Traceability
- Traceability through cross-company ERP system from the pharmaceutical industry
- Mapping of all work steps - from purchasing to finished product shipping (including picking) as well as production planning, product data management and accounting
- Raw materials / packaging / semi-finished products / bulks / finished products are batch-managed and provided with a barcode
- Production monitoring through weighing control directly in the production system and barcode
- Complete batch traceability from the finished product to the raw material.
