The HELFE Mitizyn cream was developed in 1927 as a “cream for everyone” and has been available almost unchanged since then. Known from grandmother's times, this is still an integral part of the home and travel first-aid kit in many households. The HELFE lip balm, with the recipe from the druggist Mr. Amann Werner, was developed in the 70s. As early as the 1980s, it was specifically requested and used for a Himalayan expedition to Manaslu because of its particularly nourishing properties.
